As the Messiah prepared to offer His life as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, he endured many trials, great physical pain at the hands of his accusers, and deep emotional and relational hardship. And yet, His love for us was so great, He did it willingly. Now, we that are in Him, live free.
In preparation to celebrate the Risen Christ this Easter season, contemplating the events surrounding the days before the public mocking and execution of Jesus will bring a deep sense of reverence and gratitude to the One who paid the ultimate price for our redemption.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Equipping Gifts

The Holy Spirit has gifted some people specifically for the building up and training of the Body of Christ. These essential gifts are called the "Equipping Gifts", or are sometimes referred to as the "Five Fold Ministry Gifts". These gifts are introduced in the book of Ephesians, chapter 4, verses 11 through 13. They are as follows:
1. Apostles
2. Prophets
3. Evangelists
4. Pastors
5. Teachers

Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Manifestion Gifts

According to scripture, the Holy Spirit has the ability to manifest Himself by His own supernatural power by working in and through people.
1 Corinthians 12:7 says, "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." Verses 8-10 go on to list the nine "manifestation gifts" of the Holy Spirit as follows:
1. Word of Knowledge
2. Word of Wisdom
3. Gift of Prophecy
4. Gift of Faith
5. Gift of Healings
6. Gift of Miracles
7. Discerning of Spirits
8. Speaking in tongues
9. Interpreting tongues

Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Ministry Gifts

At salvation the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within every believer. With the presence of the Holy Spirit, Christians can expect to be graced with supernatural gifts that empower them to live the life of a Christ Follower, overcome the enemy, and minister to the Body of Christ.
Ministry Gifts are described as "ministries or abilities that the Holy Spirit gives to Christians for the edification of the Church." (Lexham Bible Dictionary). These gifts are how we "ad-minister" God's love, grace, healing, and Truth to others.
In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel discuss the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:28, which are those that are categorized as the "Ministry Gifts", or Charismatons. Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Motivational Gifts

Everyone wants to know what their purpose is. There are a plethora of questionnaires and quizzes available to help people hone in on their inner talents and gifts, thus guiding them to how they can find fulfillment in contributing to the greater good. However, like most of all the big questions in life, the answer is found in the God's Word. At salvation, The Lord has given each of us spiritual gifts through the indwelling Holy Spirit that are used to serve distinct, specific purposes within the Body of Christ, all of which function together as a whole.  It is important that we all discover what our spiritual gift(s) is/are so that we can  in the way we were created, minister to others, and find personal fulfillment, all of which glorifies God.
Spiritual gifts are found in various passages of scripture as lists, most of which are not identical, but have some overlap. These lists are found in Romans, chapter 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14, and Ephesians 4. These lists have been categorized according to their corresponding Greek translation for better understanding.
In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel will be focusing on the Motivational Gifts or Gifts of Grace (Charismatons). The Motivational Gifts of the Holy Spirit are as follows:
